Bloompirato

Bloompirato module adds periodic modulation to the phase of the sound, creating a unique wobbling effect. This effect is similar to vibrato and tremolo, but instead of modulating amplitude or frequency, it modulates the phase of the sound wave. You can imagine this as scratching vinyl discs back and forth to create a distinctive sound effect.

Parameters

  • Waveform: The waveform shape used for the bloompirato effect. Options include Sine, Square, Triangle, Saw, and Noise. Different waveforms produce different tonal characteristics in the bloompirato effect.
  • Frequency: The speed of the bloompirato effect in Hertz (Hz). This determines how fast the phase oscillates.
  • Amplitude: The intensity of the bloompirato effect as a percentage of the current phase. This determines how much the phase varies.

Example usage

  • Very high Frequency with a very low Amplitude can turn sound into more "digital" or "glitchy" sound, useful for sci-fi effects.
  • Low Frequency and Amplitude settings can create a ghostly or spooky effects.
  • Medium Frequency settings are useful for creating electronic sounds, like sirens, sci-fi shields or engines.
  • Using White Noise wave for Bloompirato can create a random melodic effect for buffs or powerups.
  • Using medium to high Frequencies can create various mechanical sounds like buzzing, engines, humming, and so on.
